Who remembers The Mom Song, the little ditty sung to The William Tell Overture that takes all the stuff a mom says in a day, compressed into a couple of minutes…
(I CAN NOT get enough of this.)
Well, now the teens have had their reply.
I hope y’all enjoyed this as much as I did. 🙂
LOL, I laughed because “OMG, can I borrow $$” and “have a later curfew” have been planted in the garden of teenage angst in our house. I keep watering it with “no and no and what for” … that darn plant just sprouted a leaf! 🙂
I don’t know about you, but I feel relieved to know my kids aren’t any different than the rest of them!!
I love Mom song. My kids don’t like it at all. But I told them, just wait – it will be funny some day. I loved the kid one. My kids are a little young yet for most of what she was singing about, but it is coming soon, so it was fun to be reminded of what is just around the corner! Thanks for sharing.
Well now you have a sneak peek at what to expect! The first sign will be when they don’t want to walk next to you in public places!!
Hahaha–I’ve SOOOOO been there–on both sides. Well, adjusted for the age difference, of course.
Most of it is timeless. Whether they know it or not, your girls will be singing this song one day!!!
